Mehdi Hosseinpour, general and revolutionary prosecutor of Yazd province, announced the closure of the venue of a Halloween celebration and the summoning of the organizers of the event in Yazd and Ardakan.

Hosseinpour said that after receiving reports from the public, cases including “unveiling” and the holding of a mixed-gender party were reviewed, and as a result, the venue of the ceremony was sealed and related individuals were summoned for investigations.

He emphasized: “People’s expectation from the judiciary is to deal with such cases within the framework of laws and regulations.”
