Alí al-Zeydí, the Prime Minister of Iraq, said at the ceremony marking the end of the mission of the U.S.-led coalition in Baghdad that Iraq has entered a stage in which it will take full responsibility for its own security and stability.
He emphasized that no weapons would be outside the framework of the law and that no forces would be outside state institutions, and that the end of the international coalition’s mission does not mean the end of Iraq’s fight against terrorism.
