🔻US Central Command (CENTCOM) has reported that Bahrain has joined a special joint force that was formed last month to use attack suicide drones.
Admiral Brad Cooper, the commander of CENTCOM, said in this regard:
“we are pleased with Bahrain’s joining the ‘Falkon Strike’ special force; after the country reaffirmed its commitment to cooperate with CENTCOM in establishing the first multinational unit of attack suicide drones in the world. Bahrain is a steadfast partner in strengthening security and stability in the region.”
CENTCOM announced on August 13 last year that it is working to create the world’s first multinational and multi-domain special force of attack drones.
This unit, called the “Falkon Strike Special Force,” will use attack suicide (one-time-use) drones; unmanned systems that operate in three air, sea-surface and undersea domains and are expected to be used by U.S. military support forces and partner forces from the regional countries.
