🎥 Brawl during a football match; suspension of all youth players of Esteghlal and Shahin

A severe, group brawl between the youth players of Esteghlal and Shahin Tehran led to the suspension of all players from both teams. The Tehran province football association announced that the players present on the match lineup are, until further notice, not allowed to take part in any activity related to football.

The clash took place in the second-week match of the Tehran province youth premier league at the “Marghoobkar” stadium and caused the match to be halted for 15 minutes. The disciplinary committee of the Tehran province football association announced that, due to the intensity of the clash and the “inability to accurately identify” the individuals involved, all 20 players present on the lineup list of each of the two teams—both starting players and substitutes—have been suspended until further notice. The two teams were also banned from hosting home matches with spectators present due to the clashes among the spectators.
