🔶Acting head of the Social Affairs Center of Tehran Governorate: Many of the opponents of cafés, their children are in cafés

The acting head of the Social Affairs Center of Tehran Governorate, while criticizing harsh برخورد with cafés, said that these places have a prominent role in the social life of the capital and introduced himself as one of the “supporters of Tehran cafés”.

According to Abdolreza Cheraghaali, at present “around three thousand cafés” are operating in Tehran province and young people “spend more than 450,000 person-hours” of their time in these places every day.

Cheraghaali, saying that in some cases cafés “have turned into a space for the gathering of different groups and trades,” told the news website Fararu that these places “are also, in general, an opportunity for social development and should not be viewed only with a negative perspective”.

The acting head of the Social Affairs Center of Tehran Governorate also said: “Many of those who are opposed to cafés also spend time in these places with their children, and we must accept this reality.”
