🔸“A deal will be reached soon”; Trump: I am personally involved in the negotiations

Donald Trump, the president of the United States, on Thursday, August 6 (15 Mordad), spoke about the “good” performance of the United States in the issue of the Strait of Hormuz and once again claimed that “a deal will be reached soon.”

In the Oval Office at the White House while signing executive orders related to a matter concerning civil rights on U.S. soil, when asked about reaching a deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, he said he did not intend to announce an agreement, but that the strait is “somewhat open” for now.

Trump, while pointing out that he is “personally” involved in the negotiations related to the Strait of Hormuz, said that “the talks are going well and a deal may be reached soon.” He did not provide further details about how he is present and involved in these talks.

He, while referring to the continued maritime blockade by U.S. forces, said that control of the Strait of Hormuz is in the hands of the United States, although there is still the possibility of firing or deploying naval mines.
