🔶 Trump’s administration has canceled more than 300,000 U.S. visas

Since the start of Donald Trump’s second presidential term in January 2025, the U.S. government has canceled more than 300,000 visas; a move that has been met with criticism from groups and human rights organizations.

The U.S. State Department said the Trump administration has been canceling visas at a faster pace than any previous administration, and has adopted a “zero tolerance” policy toward visa holders who commit legal violations, fraud, or take actions against national security.

Statistics on canceled visas as of August 10 this year were reported to be more than 175,000 cases, but they have now passed the 300,000 mark.
