🔶 Zelensky’s renewed effort on a trip to Washington to win Trump’s support

Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, will travel to Washington on Tuesday, July 28 (August 6) to meet with Donald Trump at the White House, in an effort once again to secure more support from the U.S. president for Ukraine against Russia.

The trip comes as both Kyiv and Moscow have intensified their long-range attacks on each other, and diplomatic efforts that Washington had initiated remain deadlocked more than four years after Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine began.

The mayor of Moscow said early on Tuesday that more than 390 Ukrainian drones had targeted the Moscow region. Local officials reported damage to a number of residential buildings.
