🔶 Police: ISIS is a likely suspect for the Berlin terrorist attack

After the Saturday attack on the sidelines of a Pride march in Berlin, the police apparently obtained a video in which ISIS claims responsibility for the attack.

According to a report by the newspaper “Bild,” police found a mobile phone containing the video of the acceptance of responsibility for the act in the attacker’s vehicle.

It is not yet clear whether the suspect left the phone there himself or whether, during the crash, it fell there. There is speculation that the phone may have slipped from his hands when the van collided with the crowd.

Abdel B, on Saturday evening, July 25, during the Christopher Street Day parade in Berlin, drove a van into passersby in Tiergarten and killed a woman and injured dozens of others. The suspect initially fled the crime scene and, the next day, during an operation by the police special forces (SEK), was shot dead in a garden shed in the Spandau area of Berlin.
