🔹The cost of taxis in Iran has reached up to half a million. Today I paid 520,000 tomans for a 15-minute ride. The taxi fare from the agency has also come to 400,000 tomans.
🔹They say that the power won’t be cut anymore, but they are cutting off electricity in Khorramabad for between 1 and 3 hours every day.
🔹I’m a 30-year-old man from Rasht, and I have an internet café. The cost of paper, printer cartridge refills, and printer repairs has become so expensive that maybe we won’t be able to continue.
🔹In area 8 of Narmak, they announced tuition for a private (non-government) school as 135 million tomans. The Ministry of Education says they are only allowed to collect 90 million.
🔹I went to a public hospital for a kidney stone. The patient’s share was 560,000 tomans, and the insurance share was 80,000 tomans. That’s how responsibility is shifted between the patient and the government.
🔹The battery of my car has been rendered invalid. Its price is 8,700,000 tomans (Santa Fe model). While car prices reach figures in the billions, incomes are still calculated based on the toman/ rial.
