🔶 Yemen’s army says it carried out 20 airstrikes on Houthi positions in Taiz

Majd Abdullah Al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for Yemen’s armed forces, announced on Friday, 10 Mehr (October 2), that the country’s Air Force fighter jets carried out 20 precise strikes on Houthi targets in the province of Taiz over the course of three hours.

According to the spokesman, these strikes targeted the Houthi movements, reinforcements, gatherings, forces, vehicles, and military equipment.

He said on the social media platform X that the intended targets were directly hit, and that the strikes caused casualties among the forces and damage to equipment and Houthi military movements. The death toll was not announced.

Houthi forces backed by Iran have recently seized some coastal areas overlooking the Bab el-Mandeb strait.
