Hosein-Ali Hajideligani, a member of parliament for Shahinshahr, told the Iran Didban news website: “We must take over the United Arab Emirates, and this can be done easily. The requirement for eliminating the root of sedition is that our fighters go to a country that previously attacked us or is now preparing for a renewed attack, and be stationed there so that no attacks against us are carried out from that region.”

Hajideligani added: “Our country is constantly threatened by the United Arab Emirates, and plans are made in relation to the Strait of Hormuz and the illegal passage of ships through this country. Therefore, we must go there and establish security in that area; that is, be stationed there so that no attack is carried out against us from that point and no plans are made to allow the passage of ships that are contrary to our interests.”

This member of parliament said: “We have been attacked and invaded, whereas we have not invaded anyone and we have not been the initiator of the war. Don’t we have the right, in order to establish security for our nation and our shipping, to go to areas from which shots are fired toward us and bring those areas under our control?”
