Walla.net reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu secretly went to Abu Dhabi on Sunday, the fifth of Mehr, by private jet, met with Mohamed bin Zayed, President of the United Arab Emirates, and returned to Israel after the meeting.

According to the report, the meeting took place as Israel–United Arab Emirates relations have grown closer during the war with the Islamic Republic. In an unprecedented move, Israel provided the United Arab Emirates with a temporary Iron Dome system along with Israeli forces.

Walla.net wrote that Netanyahu had also previously traveled secretly to Abu Dhabi during the “Roar of Lions” operation and met with bin Zayed.

At the same time, Barak Ravid, an Axios reporter, wrote on X that the trip took place two weeks after the publication of a warning by bin Zayed to Netanyahu ahead of the Seventh of October attack.
