🔻Voting in the U.S. midterm elections in the states of Virginia, Georgia and South Carolina, minutes ago at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time, ended.
In the states of Kentucky and Indiana, voting in the first states also ended an hour earlier.
In the state of Ohio, voting ends at 7:30; at the same time as North Carolina, which is among the key states in the race to control the Senate.
The first results from these states are expected to be released gradually; especially the Senate races in Georgia and Ohio, which are important for determining the future composition of this chamber.
The initial results may also indicate the level of voter dissatisfaction with Donald Trump’s performance and the impact of economic issues on the election.
