👈 US arms sale worth $2.27 billion to three Arab countries

The U.S. State Department has approved three possible arms sales to the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Kuwait with a combined value of roughly $2.27 billion, and these packages have been reported to Congress for review.

The largest package concerns the UAE, valued at $1.04 billion and including up to 10,000 APKWS-II guidance systems. Egypt is also expected to receive Javelin missile systems worth $832 million, and Kuwait will receive repair and support services for the Patriot system worth $400 million
