Saudi Arabia’s news agency early Tuesday morning local time, citing the spokesperson of the military coalition against the Houthi rebels, reported that the coalition’s naval forces carried out a military operation in Yemen’s Al Hudaydah Governorate. Saudi brigadier general Turki Al-Maliki said the operation included the destruction of military targets belonging to the Houthi rebels, neutralizing a plan for attacks imminent against the waterways of the southern Red Sea, as well as destroying weapons stockpiles, facilities for storing booby-trapped boats, and naval mines.
