The United Arab Emirates called the incident on a flydubai plane a terrorist act, and the country’s Attorney General announced that official interrogations of the second pilot of this flight, on charges of involvement with terrorism, have begun.

At the same time, Israeli security officials requested the presence of their observers in the interrogation sessions.
