🔸The UK Maritime Trade Operations Center announced that a cargo ship near the coasts of Oman was hit by an unidentified projectile.

🔸According to this report, the incident occurred at around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, 13 Mordad (13 Amordad) Tehran time, about 20 nautical miles northeast of the Al Khasib area of Oman.

🔸The ship’s crew, via the maritime emergency channel, announced that their vessel had been struck.

🔸As the UK Maritime Trade Operations Center has stated, details of the incident are still under investigation, and no information has been released about the attacker or attackers or the extent of any possible damage.

🔸Meanwhile, data from the company Kepler shows that traffic through the Strait of Hormuz remains significantly slowed; so that on Monday, only six vessels, including three tankers and three bulk carriers, passed through the strait, while this number was seven vessels the day before.
