U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said at a press conference on the sidelines of the G20 summit that talks about Iran are underway and that Trump prefers the issue to be resolved peacefully.

On Saturday, the ninth of Aban, Rubio also said that at the same time there are certain issues that cannot be resolved peacefully.

The U.S. secretary of state added: “I am not going to set any progress in negotiations with the Islamic Republic, nor any timeline for them, except to say that if there is a diplomatic solution, we welcome it.”

Rubio added: “Regarding Iran, if there is a diplomatic solution, we welcome it, but it is obvious that such a solution cannot put our national security at risk or address the fundamental concerns that, in the first place, led us into this situation.”
