🔸U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday evening, 14 Mordad, that he prefers to find a diplomatic solution rather than take more military action against Iran, but stressed that his administration’s position regarding Iran’s nuclear file has not changed.
🔸In a speech in Las Vegas, he said: “I would rather reach a deal, because I don’t want people to be killed. I don’t want people to be killed, but at some point that will happen.”
🔸In the same speech, Trump again stated that Iran should not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons.
🔸On Wednesday evening as well, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance said that negotiations to reach an agreement with Iran would be “complicated and challenging” and would require time.
🔸He, who has chaired the U.S. negotiating team in talks with Iran after the 40-day war, added in an interview with Fox News that “Iranians are extremely difficult people to negotiate with” and that “their government structure is divided.”
