U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) posted a picture of a U.S. Navy helicopter taking off from the aircraft carrier “George Washington” on the X network, writing that the carrier supports the implementation of a U.S. naval blockade against the Islamic Republic.

CENTCOM wrote that U.S. forces have changed the routes of 144 commercial vessels by October 31 to ensure compliance with the blockade.
