CENTCOM, in an unusual move, has asked military analysts for creative and unconventional ideas to increase pressure on the Islamic Republic.
Farzin Nadimi, senior researcher of defense and security affairs, said that, given the limitations of the military front, CENTCOM is looking at new options that are not necessarily military. He added that these options could range from preserving Iranians’ connection with the outside world to making use of hybrid warfare, including psychological operations and non-kinetic actions.
