🔻IRGC: We shot down an American drone in the Strait of Hormuz

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps says it has shot down an American “MQ-9” drone over the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the IRGC statement, the drone was brought down with “fire from the advanced air defense system of the Airspace Force.”

The IRGC statement does not mention the time and date of the drone’s downing.

So far, CENTCOM, the U.S. military’s headquarters in the region, has not confirmed or denied the report.
