🔶 The Wall Street Journal: Saudi Arabia is facing a shortage of interceptor missiles
The Wall Street Journal, citing Saudi officials, reported that Saudi Arabia is facing a shortage of interceptor missiles—missiles that Riyadh needs to counter the ongoing attacks by the Iran-backed Houthi forces.
This U.S. outlet, citing sources familiar with the matter whose names have not been disclosed, wrote that Riyadh is facing this problem and the question of how to deploy its air defense systems across the entire country in order to best defend energy infrastructure as well as the palaces of Saudi Arabia.
In its report, The Wall Street Journal said that Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudi Crown Prince, moves among palaces that are under stringent security measures and are equipped with shelters, and is escorted by selected security and protective forces.
