General Abolfazl Shekarchi: Regional countries should break free from the ineffective US security umbrella

🔹 Senior spokesperson for the armed forces, General Shekarchi, said Washington is incapable of ensuring even its own security in the region, let alone that of others. Continuing to rely on the so-called US security umbrella will only mean bearing the heavy costs of flawed calculations and decisions.
