Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry announced on Sunday evening Washington time that Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the country’s foreign minister, received a phone call from Abbas Araqchi, the foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Riyadh said the call included discussions about “developments in the region and efforts to reduce tensions.”
