The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday, 30 Shahrivar that the Trump administration proposed an investment of five billion dollars in a fund to rebuild energy infrastructure damaged in the Middle East.

According to this report, the goal of the proposal is stated to be reducing the region’s countries’ dependence on the Strait of Hormuz for transporting oil and gas.
