The U.S. State Department strongly condemned the Islamic Republic’s issuance of death sentences for two other protesters.

In response to the execution of two other protesters in Iran, a spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State told VOA, the United States strongly condemns the unjust execution of innocent civilians by the Islamic Republic and the regime’s use of methods such as arbitrary detentions and torture as tools to suppress politics, intimidate opponents, and silence the voice of protest.
