🔻 The Pakistani Taliban claims responsibility for the deadly attack in Kabul

The militant group Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan has claimed responsibility for a deadly suicide bombing on Sunday evening in a city in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

At least 14 people were killed and 18 others injured in the suicide bombing, which took place outside a police station in the city of Kabul in the Swat Valley of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Six police officers were also among the dead.

Last week, an attack by armed men on a police station in Hangu in the same province left 11 police officers dead, including a senior officer, along with a number of others who were injured.

In recent years, violence in this region has increased, and Islamist militant groups have repeatedly targeted Pakistan’s security forces with their attacks.
