Yasmin Ansari, an Iranian-born member of the U.S. House of Representatives, in response to Donald Trump’s renewed threat of “the destruction of Iran,” said: “He has again threatened to destroy a country with a population of 90 million. This is a crime against humanity. Democrats should, after regaining control of the House of Representatives and the Senate, act urgently to end Trump’s reckless and self-serving war. Enough is enough.”

Ms. Ansari also called for the impeachment of Pete Hegseth, the defense secretary in Mr. Trump’s administration.
