Scott Bessent, U.S. Treasury Secretary, wrote on X that the level of ship traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, aside from Iranian oil cargoes, has returned to pre-conflict levels.

Bessent, on Saturday, 9 Aban, referring to Iran’s oil exports, wrote: “The world can live without Iranian oil; but Iran cannot live without oil exports.”
