🔻Russia’s embassy denies reports about departure of diplomats and specialists from Bushehr power plant

The Russian Embassy in Tehran denied reports about the start of evacuating staff of the embassy and Russian specialists working at the Bushehr nuclear power plant.

In a statement released on Saturday, October 24, the embassy said that none of the embassy staff or Russian specialists at the Bushehr power plant are being evacuated and they have no intention to leave their place of service.

The statement added: “Activities continue as normal. Claims that contradict this are inaccurate information whose source is well-known.”

The Russian Embassy also accused some news channels of publishing inaccurate information and asked audiences to un from channels that publish such reports.

The denial was issued while Donald Trump, the U.S. president, has once again raised the possibility of carrying out a new military operation against Iran.
