🔻Iran’s Army Public Relations says the country’s air defense system tracked and shot down a single U.S.-made Lucas drone.

According to the Army’s statement, the drone was targeted in the skies over Bandar Abbas.

In Azar 1404 (December 2025/January 2026), the U.S. Central Command, “CENTCOM,” announced the formation of the first squadron of the country’s one-way (suicide) attack drones in the Middle East.

Some international media outlets say that in the design of these drones, technology from a similar Iranian version has been used as a model.

The photo used in the report is the image released by Iran’s state media in connection with the news about the destruction of this drone.
