🔻Reuters reports that Truth Social, the social media network owned by Donald Trump’s media company, sells faster access to the posts of the President of the United States by charging financial companies amounts of up to 100,000 dollars per month.

According to informed sources, Bloomberg and two Wall Street financial trading firms are among the customers of this service. Faster access to Trump’s statements, which sometimes strongly affect financial markets, could give traders an advantage.

The move has faced criticism over conflicts of interest and unequal access to government information, and two media institutions have also filed lawsuits against it.

Trump’s media company, without explicitly denying the sale of these services, said that Truth Social provides a mainstream service in the technology industry that has significant demand for it. The company also described Reuters’ report as being based on misleading information from anonymous sources, with the aim of harming the company, its customers, and its shareholders.
