🔻What happened so far; with 85% of the votes counted in Israel’s election, Netanyahu is leading
So far, more than 85% of the votes have been counted in Israel’s election, but none of the factions has won the necessary majority of seats in the parliament. Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition still has the most votes, but the number of its seats has fallen to 54. The number of seats of the rival party of Netanyahu, Gadi Eisenkot, has also reached 49, while the “Arab List” parties have increased their seats to 19. The winning bloc to form a government needs at least 61 seats in the Knesset. The current results are not final and may change.
