U.S. officials have warned several Middle Eastern countries and their regional allies to be prepared for a possible resumption of military operations against the Islamic Republic after the midterm elections of 12 Aban, as well as for the possibility that the Islamic Republic will try to carry out a retaliatory action against these countries.
The Associated Press, citing two informed diplomats, wrote that the warnings were conveyed by diplomats and U.S. defense officials.
The two diplomats spoke only on condition of anonymity, because they were not allowed to comment on these sensitive warnings.
According to the same two people, U.S. President Donald Trump has not yet made a final decision about new strikes. He has repeatedly emphasized that after the elections, he will review orders for fresh military operations.
The White House and U.S. officials declined to comment.
