Leila Moroti, a political analyst, says that pointing to contradictions in media reports about negotiations between the United States and the Islamic Republic, Turkey and Pakistan, due to their proximity to Iran and concerns about the consequences of war, are trying to reduce tensions between Tehran and Washington.

According to her, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and other Arab countries in the region are also seeking mediation, but the unresolved differences over the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program remain one of the main obstacles to reaching an agreement or a lasting ceasefire.
