'Remember these things?' Netanyahu holds up radio during UN speech

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held up a radio as a prop during his UN General Assembly speech while discussing the 'beepers' used in attacks targeting Hezbollah members in Lebanon.

'Remember these things?' Netanyahu asked delegates as he displayed the device.

The exploding pagers and radios were planted by Israel in Lebanon in September 2024, and reportedly killed at least 32 people and maimed or injured 3,250, including children and medical personnel.

At the time, UN experts condemned the operation as a “terrifying” violation of international law.
