Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, said it is still too early to identify the perpetrator behind a thwarted attempt to bring down a FlyDubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv, and that Israel may participate in investigations into the incident.

Netanyahu said on Wednesday in a conversation with Sean Hannity on Fox News, in response to a question about the possibility of the Islamic Republic playing a role in the incident: “We don’t yet know.”

He said the suspected co-pilot in Saudi Arabia is being interrogated and will likely be transferred to the United Arab Emirates.

Netanyahu added: “It’s still too early to comment. We will follow these investigations and will likely participate in them.”
