Radosław Sikorski, Poland’s foreign minister, on Friday the 8th of Aban, on the sidelines of a meeting of the foreign ministers of the Group of Twenty in Atlanta, called for a rapid ceasefire in the Black Sea so that grain shipments from both Ukraine and Russia can pass safely.

He told reporters, “I voted quickly because people around the world need these grains.”

Sikorski emphasized that Russia must end its war with Ukraine before returning to selling energy to Europe, and he said that “a just end” is a condition.

According to him, Ukraine should be willing, in any effort to end the Russian invasion—which has reached its fifth year.
