🔸The American website Axios, in an exclusive report, announced that the Qatari mediators, after “more than 12 hours” of negotiations in Tehran, have said there is “positive progress” in efforts to reach an agreement between Iran and the United States, and that the talks are expected to continue on Saturday in Doha.

🔸Axios early on Saturday, the 9th of Aban, cited diplomatic sources as saying that the negotiations on Friday in Tehran, aimed at reaching an agreement to resume direct talks between Washington and Tehran and to prevent the start of a new round of U.S. military attacks after this country’s midterm elections, were conducted.

🔸A diplomatic source also said that the Qatari mediators during the Friday talks were in regular contact with the White House and added: “Positive progress has been made. Negotiations continue so as to open the way to an agreement between the United States and Iran.”

🔸Axios’ reporter also wrote in a message that on Friday the Qatari mediators, along with the Iranian negotiators, left Tehran for Doha, so that talks would continue on Saturday in Qatar’s capital.
