🔶 Pezeshkian: Supreme Leader gave the government authority regarding the negotiations
Masoud Pezeshkian, the president of Iran, in remarks he made at a meeting with provincial governors and the mayors of major cities, attributed the challenges and crises facing the country to “enemies,” and said that they must be overcome with the cooperation and participation of the people.
In these remarks on Monday, 11 Aban, he added that “we are trying to resolve the problem through dialogue,” and said that Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, has given “authority to the government” regarding the negotiations.
Referring to the point that “in war, no one benefits,” Pezeshkian stated: “The enemies cannot make us surrender to our Iran through war. We stand firmly against their lies and demands with power, and in this path we must work to increase the resilience of the people and address their concerns and worries.”
Pezeshkian continued: “If we want to increase the resilience of the people and pass through the situation with the lowest possible tension, we must work to prevent energy production from being halted through saving and managing energy consumption.”
He called the pillar of the country and those who confront the enemies “the general public, not a particular group.”
