The Abu Dhabi media office said the Abu Dhabi state-owned oil company, ADNOC, and G42’s artificial intelligence company signed a contract with OpenAI on Monday, 11 Aban.

The deal was signed after Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, met with Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and attended ADIPEC, the UAE’s largest oil exhibition.

ExxonMobil and Chevron canceled their executives’ trip to the same event last week due to security concerns.

Concerns about the United States’ latest attack on Iran and the Islamic Republic’s response have kept the oil market on edge.

U.S. President Donald Trump said he would not launch an attack before the midterm elections on 12 Aban, but on Friday, 8 Aban, he said the U.S. may carry out another military operation against Iran.
