🔺NATO Secretary General Welcomes Joint Statement on the Role of the Islamic Republic in the Ford Incident

▪The NATO Secretary General welcomed a joint statement by a number of member countries regarding the role of the Islamic Republic in violent actions on the territory of these countries.

▪Mark Rutte also said that “I condemn Iran’s involvement in violent actions and threats in the territory of the coalition’s member states, including the 5 Mehr incident in Ford.”

▪In the joint statement, the UK’s assessment of the role of the Islamic Republic in the Ford air base incident was recognized.

▪The U.S. State Department and other signatories also referred to the UK’s conclusion, according to which the Ford incident shows the continued readiness of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to carry out hostile actions outside Iran’s borders.
