▪Andy Burnham, the prime minister of Britain, identified the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps as the likely actor behind a plan to attack the Farford airbase, where American bombers are stationed. At the same time, the British government summoned the ambassador of the Islamic Republic and imposed new sanctions on two Iranian nationals, including Ruhollah Bazqandi, from among the Intelligence Organization officials of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.
