Photos released on social media show protests by students at Bu-Ali Sina University in Hamedan and at Amirkabir University of Technology (Polytechnic Tehran), highlighting the quality of the cafeteria food.

As reported by the Amirkabir student newsletter, some students of Bu-Ali Sina University in Hamedan, in protest against the food poisoning of some dormitory students in the girls’ dorms, went on strike by refusing to eat the university meals.

At the same time, students at Amirkabir University of Technology also expressed their dissatisfaction with the poor quality of cafeteria food, showing their concerns about the quality of the food provided at the university.
