🔺Mutual Attacks by Ukraine and Russia Hit Each Other’s Energy Infrastructure

◾Following the continued mutual attacks by Russia and Ukraine against each other, a drone strike hit an oil refinery in the center of Russia’s Republic of Bashkortostan, causing a fire at these facilities.

◾Ukrainian long-range drones struck the target, and a review of images from eyewitnesses by the Astra monitoring group indicated that a severe blaze was created. Another monitoring group also reported a fire at a nearby refinery.

◾After these attacks, Ufa International Airport suspended all flights, while airports in Kazan and Samara faced restrictions and delays. The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that its air defenses destroyed 433 Ukrainian drones in a single night across 19 regions. The distance from Ufa to the Ukraine border is about 1,400 kilometers.
