Mohammad Ghayedi, a professor of international relations, referring to Donald Trump, the president of the United States, refusing to take military action against the Houthis, said that one of the reasons for this decision could be preventing the division of the capabilities of American forces and weakening the siege operations in the Strait of Hormuz.

He added that, given the pressure on America’s military resources, Washington prefers to preserve these resources for the possibility of the crisis being intensified again with the Islamic Republic of Iran, although it may directly intervene in the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab el-Mandeb in the coming days or weeks.
