Mizan, the media outlet of Iran’s Islamic Republic Judiciary, announced that early on Wednesday, the eighth of Mehr, the execution sentence of Ali Hemati and Majid Nikkandish—two of those detained in the National Iranian Revolution—was carried out.

According to Mizan, the two executed citizens were arrested on 18 Dey 1404 in the Tabarsi area of Mashhad.

Iran International had previously reported confirmation of the death sentence of Majid Nikkandish, 25, from Quchan, by the Supreme Court.

The judiciary media outlet wrote that early on Wednesday and “after the sentence was confirmed by the Supreme Court and through the legal process,” the death sentences of the two detainees were carried out.
