Media: Saudi Arabia is preparing itself for Houthi attacks and Iraqi militias

An senior Saudi source told the English-language Al Arabiya news network on the evening of Thursday, August 6 (15 Mordad), that “reliable information” indicates that proxy groups supported by the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps are preparing to attack Saudi Arabia.

According to the source, “multiple credible intelligence reports” point to coordination between Yemen’s Houthis, Iraqi militias, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to ready attacks against Saudi Arabia. Reuters and the CNN news channel have also published similar reports.

The source added that these reports are particularly worrying because they are being released while the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues to work to reduce tensions and find peaceful solutions, and negotiations are also moving in a positive direction.

According to him, Saudi Arabia will not hesitate to take all necessary measures in response to any aggression.
